How did we come up with the name Howies? As I was growing up in Waverly,NY, My classmates started calling me Howie. The name stuck with me as I graduated High School. When I began working at the restaurant in 1983, I was good friends with then Manager "Chuck Blaasch, until he left employment to pursue his dream, I then became the store Manager. From there, I established a good working relationship with then owner "Del Garagosian" and when he decided to retire in 1996 he offered me the opportunity to buy into the business. It has always been a life long dream of mine to own my own restaurant. So the rest they say is history. Howie's Pizza and Subs became established in 1996 and we have continued to provide our customers with the best pizza/subs and wings in the valley area! We employee up to 24 people and our free delivery service is always available during open hours of operation. Stop in for our in store dining experience or call for delivery, either way, Howie's will soon become your favorite place to eat!
